About Me

Psychology photo.jpg

I have nearly 20 years of experience working in the health sector, so it's fair to say I'm hooked on mental health policy and service implementation.

I have been working in private psychological practice for a number of years in Hobart.

I love meeting my clients and being part of their therapy process. It's a privilege to be trusted to hear people's stories and to work with them towards recovery, whatever that may look like for them.

WHO DO I WORK WITH?

  • Adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, persistent pain, adjustment difficulties, relationship problems and stress.

  • Young people aged from 12 years experiencing anxiety and challenging behaviours (only specific referrals taken).

  • Current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force personnel and their family members (services delivered through Open Arms, Veterans and Families Counselling).

  • Tasmanian Government Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management personnel.

  • Psychologists and other mental health professionals for supervision services.

How do I help?

I deliver evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy

  • Group psychology sessions where appropriate
